User manual Product configurator

Welcome to the E. Wilhelm GmbH online shop.

We have integrated a configurator into our shop that allows you to view your personalised product.

To help you get the most out of the configurator, we will explain how to use it step by step. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How to access the configurator

There are several ways to access the configurator interface. One option is to access it via the product overview page. To do this, you need to select the desired category and series. Click on the ‘Details’ button to go to the product details page, or click on the ‘Configure product’ button to go directly to the configurator.

You can also access the configurator interface by selecting a product. Please select it as usual. Click on the ‘Configure product’ button to access the configurator interface. Here you can upload your file. This means that uploading to the shopping basket will no longer be necessary in future.

Alternatively, you can of course order the product without configuring it. Select the desired colour variant and quantity and add the product to your shopping basket as usual.

The configurator interface

The configurator interface has various sections. There are two buttons on the left-hand side. One button allows you to upload files, the other allows you to select the embossing colour.

There are three more buttons in the top right-hand corner. The left-hand button contains a service area. Here you will find information on shipping and payment terms, among other things.

The middle button allows you to jump to your customer account. Here you can manage orders, payment methods and addresses, for example. The right-hand button takes you directly to your shopping basket.

The configurator also allows you to select the colour of the respective product.

To configure the product, you must upload a file using the Upload button. Various file formats are available, including jpg, png, eps, psd and pdf. The file formats are listed again in the upload area.

Please note: jpg files cannot be coloured!
If the uploaded image cannot be coloured, a message will appear below the image in question.

The configuration

After uploading, the desired logo is activated with a click.

Then the respective embossing colour can be selected. You have the option of moving the logo within the yellow frame. By default, it is centred by the system.

If the file format allows a colour change, the colour of the logo is automatically adjusted to the selected embossing colour.

Please note that this is an approximate preview. The final product may differ from the image in the configurator.

The checkout process

Once you have completed the configuration, you can add the product to your shopping basket. To do this, click on the ‘Proceed to shopping basket’ button in the bottom right-hand corner.

Enter the desired quantity here. You will then receive a brief price summary. Please note that you must actively add the product to your shopping basket again. To do this, click on the ‘Add to basket’ button on the overview page. The usual checkout process then follows. You can also adjust the quantity here as you wish.

Of course, you can continue shopping in the shop even after you have configured your order. To do so, simply click on the desired category in the menu.
